Sign-on Bonus – $1,200 full-time/$600 part-time – 1st shift
Sign-on Bonus - $1,500 full-time/$750 part-time – 2nd shift/3rd shift
Rate of Pay: $ 15.00 to $ 20.04 (dependent upon relevant experience)
Full-time, part-time and casual positions available.
Part-time positions receive an additional $.35/hour. 2nd/3rd shift receive an additional $.70/hour shift differential.

Performs a wide range of patient care activities for patients in a behavioral care setting including but not limited to:
- Maintains a therapeutic milieu on the unit.
- Upholds the established philosophy of the Behavioral Health Services programs.
- Guides and assists patients in maintaining rules and regulations of unit.
- Makes rounds to observe, assess and monitor patient's behaviors.
- Reports unusual behavior/physical symptoms to the appropriate nurse.
- Utilizes empathy and communication skills to establish therapeutic relationships with patients.
- Assists patients with activities of daily living (personal hygiene, bathing, toileting, grooming, bed making etc.) as needed.
- Intervenes in disruptive/destructive patient situations through utilization of appropriate management techniques.
- Performs simple nursing tasks e.g. vital signs, collection of specimens.
- Assists in organizing therapeutic and recreational activities for assigned patients; may facilitate/co-facilitate such activities.
- Promotes and encourages patient attendance at all groups and program activities.
- Orients new patients to the unit and program.
- May provide leadership/co-leadership for patient groups e.g. goals group, community meeting, current events, etc.
- Interacts with patients on 1:1 basis, working toward outcomes identified on the treatment plan.
