Job Description:
Our client seeking a dynamic individual to fill an opening for a Contract Human Resources Analyst/Generalist in Farmington Hills, Michigan. This role supports the R&D Human Resources team and is ideal for someone looking to grow into a Human Resources Business Partner role in the next few years.
Some project and regular responsibilities include:
Supports the Human Resources team in the creation, coordination, and facilitation of internal programs such as: Mentorship program and employee events.
Creates systems and processes utilizing programs such as Microsoft SharePoint and Excel to streamline current HR processes for automation.
Creates and produces regular reporting for HR management and leadership for purposes of monitoring direct and contract headcount, attrition and hiring status using HRIS such as Workday. Report generation involves taking data from multiple sources and combining into a consolidated report that has various options for creating pivot tables, filtering, etc. Other ad-hoc and quarterly reporting on topics such as diversity, Foreign Service Assignment monitoring, etc. may be required. Collaborates with HRIS team for unique reporting needs.
Handles all activities related to the coordination and execution of new hire orientation on a weekly basis. This includes various levels of coordination and communication with management, orientation presenters, new hires and Talent Acquisition team members. Presentation of corporate material and understanding of overall company function is required for effective onboarding.
Preparation and consolidation of Human Resources updates for Executive Management Committee meetings - this includes coordination with various HR members to compile necessary information with attention to accuracy and content summarization.
Coordinate training activities for employees which involves communication with internal and external trainers and facilities all aspects of training communication, attendance tracking on our learning management system, report generation, managing purchase order creation when necessary, etc.
Performance metric coordination and tracking - reports and updates monthly on a variety of metrics- includes updating various SharePoint sites, coordinates team meetings to discuss status on objectives.
Ad hoc projects as requested such as benchmarking of industry trends related to HR topics, coordination of employee recognition programs and administrative tasks as required to support the HR team.
