Summary The Secretary in the Social Work Service acts as an administrative liaison to the professional staff, ensuring clinical staff are relieved of administrative duties and tasks. Responsibilities Duties include, but may not be limited to the following: serves as a timekeeper for a portion of the service line initiating and maintaining all required records in accordance with established policies and procedures. reviews and updates Medical Center Memorandums (MCM), service line memorandums, reusable medical equipment (RME), standard operating procedures (SOP), Equipment Inventory List (EIL) and chemical inventory list. processes incoming and outgoing correspondence, materials, publications, regulations, and directives independently. prepares, and arranges for interviews and checks references. Qualifications: To qualify for this position at the GS-05 level, you must meet one of the following: SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Do you possess one (1) year of specialized experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled.
