Work Schedule / Shift: Mon - Fri 7 am to 3:30 pm
Wage: $16.00/hr - $18.00/hr Based on Experience
JOB SUMMARY:
Move material throughout operation, maintain orderly work environment including both inside and outside of facility.
Move material and components from facility to local customers.
Shipping Dept
- Check forklift daily ensure operation safety – Report any findings to Dock Supervisor
- Timely Load and unload shipments - Verify All Loads (In Bound / Out Bound).
- Receiving incoming material and log properly.
- Place incoming and finished material in proper storage locations
- Report to Dock Supervisor any foreign or suspect material immediately
- Responsible to ensure outside totes are wrapped prior to storing outside.
- Responsible to ensure all outside storage in northeast corner is neat and orderly.
- Perform housekeeping duties at end of shift - both inside and outside building.
- Dispose of trash and unused shipping materials as needed to ensure dock safety and quality of customer orders.

Driving FUNCTIONS: Secondary when needed
- Responsible for delivery and pick-up of parts when needed for shipments to suppliers or customers.
- Responsible for delivery and pick-up within set time period and report concerns that can cause scheduling issues.
- Responsible to maintain vehicle in good working order, properly cleaning truck on a regular basis.
- Perform daily safety inspection prior to leaving building;
- Report any mechanical issues immediately to maintenance department.
- Company cell phone is for business only and should be answered at all times.
- Report and document all incidents/accidents immediately to supervisor.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Must have valid Michigan Chauffer’s driver’s license, which is subject to regular screening.
Ability to pass a Michigan DOT Medical exam for certification.
Previous driving experience of 2 to 5 years previous experience in manufacturing environment, preferably in metal stamping.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to get on and off a forklift frequently.
- Ability to stand / walk frequently in the warehouse area.
- Ability to work outside to maintain yard and containers.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
