Description:
This position will be responsible for 2 plants (Dallas TX 50mm revenue and Lansing MI 60mm revenue) totaling 110mm in revenue. Their day will consist of 75% accounting functions and 25% financial analysis and reporting. This controller will be expected to perform entries, corrections, reconciliations review, inventory control, costing, and various analysis including variance, margin, budget v actual, and risk. All tax and audit is handled by corporate, but they will be required to submit an asset ledger for their plants. There is a daily KPI morning report that is prepared by the cost accountant, but is presented by the controller. They'll meet understand the contents and be able to answer questions of leadership as necessary. They will also be required to attend the L3 plant meeting as often as possible. They will have 2 direct reports - cost accountant and IT analyst.
