Retail Business Unit Compliance Specialist I, First Level Officer
The Retail Compliance Specialist role will be responsible for performing compliance controls testing of business units and/or regulations applicable to the Bank. The monitoring and testing processes seek to identify, document, and address compliance weaknesses and exceptions. This position will make the initial determination of compliance issues and assist in communicating results to business unit management.

Position Responsibilities
- Perform detailed control testing for business units and/or regulations applicable to the Bank.
- Make initial determination of regulatory exceptions and process weaknesses through the testing process.
- Complete work within defined plans, budgets, and schedules.
- Create quality work papers and supporting documentation in accordance with department standards.
- Understand and remain current on regulatory requirements and business unit processes to ensure enterprise-wide compliance with applicable regulations.
- Report findings to manager and line of business management; partner with managers to develop remediation plans as needed
- Assist in testing planning to determine whether policies and procedures are being followed.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or 4 years of equivalent work experience in compliance, risk management or audit
- 5 years of experience in financial services
- 3 years of experience analyzing or interpreting regulatory requirements
- 3 years of experience with compliance testing and quality assurance testing or other analytical activities
- 3 years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office products
