DEPLOYMENT LEAD
SOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN -WORLD HEADQUARTERS

Lear is looking for an experienced Deployment Team Lead that will be responsible for managing the kickoff, launch and support for plant deployments while additionally managing the business and contractor relationships throughout the project. The ideal candidate will be skilled in project management within a multi-function business environment and technical in the areas of IT and manufacturing. Experience in providing detailed direction, meeting aggressive deadlines and being an excellent communicator are a must.

The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

• • Lead successful launch of a key project by running deployment calls, setting, and tracking progress while maintaining all deadlines within budget.
  • Manage and schedule multiple complex deployments at various stages within project lifecycle.
  • Act as cross functional leader and representative of the deployment team to collaborate across teams and solve challenges.
  • Apply critical thinking skills to proactively keep projects on track and launches successful.
  • Identify areas for process or technical improvement or gaps and work with the team to efficiently implement improvements.
  • Provide consultation based on customer needs and advise on best practices to ensure the customer is leveraging the solution to achieve full business value.
  • Communicate requested product enhancements internally to development lead and project management team.
  • Manage team of reports that includes both internal worker and external contract workers.
  • Manage post launch support and product enhancement implementation activities.

Your Qualifications:

• • BA/BS Degree.
  • 3+ years' experience as an account, project manager or other related field, including experience managing a deployment team.
  • Technical background in understanding manufacturing concepts like MES, ASRS, JIT, JIS preferred.
  • IT skilled in SQL, windows, .NET framework, data warehousing, data integration and dashboard reporting tools preferred. (Snowflake, QDI, Pro2 and Microsoft Power BI experience a plus).
  • Experience working on highly visible, fast paced projects within business, IT and manufacturing.
  • Outstanding ability to clearly and tactfully articulate problems and resolutions.
  • Highly organized with project management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and demanding customer.
  • The ability to work independently and to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • High quality presentation and communication skills.
