Primary Purpose:
Responsible for the analysis, design, code, test, documentation and support of new software applications and enhancements to existing applications. Contribute to the preparation of specifications to resolve business client questions.

Analyzes and documents how the business requirements fit into existing system
Assist others in refining system specifications
Participate in gathering specifications from users
Translate detailed program specifications for less complex problems and clearly defined segments of more complex programs into coded computer instructions
Create and/ or modify programs to adapt to changes in needs and requirements
Test coded program routines and make revisions to eliminate errors, with supervision
Review test results with users, complete final program documentation, and obtain approval for changes
Assist in on-the-job training of less experienced programmers
Minimum Skills and Competencies:

High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience preferred
At least 4+ years of total development experience in web-related technologies
Should be very fluent in JavaScript and front-end frameworks
3+ years' experience with ASP.NET MVC, at least 1 year using the 4-4.5 framework
1+ years' experience with any of the front-end libraries, like Knockout, Angular JS, and etc.
4+ years' experience using C #
4+ years' experience with Web Services(WCF & Web API), Web Forms, and XML
4+ years of transact SQL experience writing complex stored procedures, triggers, DTS packages
Experience working in a team environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
Multi-tasking and organizational skills a must
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written
Experience with SQL Server 2012 a plus
Knowledge of insurance applications a plus
Desired Skills:
Effective time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
Experience with relational databases
Understanding of data modeling concept
