Cancer Tumor Registrar - FT Days

What You Will Do
Maintain and analyze cancer incidence data.
Identify and analyze the history, diagnosis, treatment, disease status and survival data of cancer patients treated in the organization.
Prepare and electronically submits required reporting information to the state cancer database.
Collect data for patient care evaluations, protocol studies and conducting audits.
Compile with all reporting requests and requirements.
Abstract accurately all required cancer related information into the electronic tumor registry system.
Coordinate and maintain the long-term follow up process of data collection and input for all tumorregistry patients.
What You Will Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Registrar specializing in Tumors credentialed from the National Cancer Registrars Association (NCRA) obtained within 24 Months (2 years) of hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required.
Additional Preferences
Work Experience:
- Two years experience as a Cancer Tumor Registrar highly preferred.
