Express Employment is assistnig a Premier Candy Manufacturer located in the Brighton area is in need of Candy Makers and Recipe Mixers to join their team on 1st & 2nd shift.

These positions offer long-term and permanent career opportunities within a company offering training for advancement!

Pay rate: $15.00/hr - $16.50/hr

1st Shift - Monday - Friday / 1st shift 4:30am - 3:30pm

2nd Shift – Monday – Friday / 2:30pm – 1:30am Must be available for overtime on Fridays & Saturdays as needed.

Additional Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following:

Attention to Detail Proficient with math and reading comprehension (needed to following recipe instructions).
Good verbal and written communication skills.
At least 1 year of consistent manufacturing or food service experience.
Longevity and consistency in previous work history.
Physical demands of position require standing, bending and lifting up to 50lbs+ repeatedly.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment is a must!
Reliable Transportation
Completes all necessary audits that are required to maintain BRC and safety standards
Retrieves raw ingredients for batches
Mixes and weighs out dry ingredients for recipes (Yogurt and Compound)
Loads and unloads pans/machines Scans racks on scale to document weight Scrapes pans between products or as needed
Verifies Work Orders and lot numbers for proper tracking purposes
Performs necessary cleaning at the beginning and end of each shift
