Join our Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) team and you will directly support and promote our brand and reputation. Through internal communications, public relations and corporate communications, you'll provide a wide range of marketing and communications services to internal and external audiences. These include current and future clients, our current and future employees, alumni, regulators, the media and the communities within which we operate.
The opportunity
You'll support the development and implementation of internal communications to drive regional Americas and Global business objectives. You will be responsible for helping to devise and execute the communications strategy and plans; managing team members and budgets; and reporting on results and value of communication efforts. You will team closely with internal stakeholders and communications colleagues and serve as a key driver for communications initiatives. Candidates must reside within EYs West Region.
Your key responsibilities
You'll be expected to build and cultivate strong trusted adviser relationships with key internal stakeholders to provide communications for business goals and objectives. You will contribute to and execute on the region's communications strategy, including annual communications plans, calendars, timelines and budgets to meet the strategic objectives. You will be expected to actively participate and provide strategic insights in key client and team meetings. You will manage the performance, engagements, and professional development of internal communications team members.
Skills and attributes for success
Ability to advise, influence and share valuable insights on the optimal mix of communications in key leadership meetings
Adept at managing and developing a team of communications professionals
Able to leverage extensive experience and deep insight to advise on the optimal use of internal communications to positively impact the business
Ability to explore innovative uses of technology to achieve goals and stay at the forefront of best-in-class communications practice
Ability to rapidly engage in crisis communications, adhering to firm strategy and guidelines
Adept at assuming leadership role for large projects, including webcasts, videos and presentations
To qualify for the role, you must have
Minimum of 10 plus years of communications experience, preferably in a professional services environment
Bachelor's degree with a communications or related major or equivalent experience
Mastery of written and oral communication skills as well as listening and interpretation skills
Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills, including the development of junior staff
Proven ability to articulate complex subject matter in a modern, concise and easily digestible manner for broad audiences
Ideally, you'll also have
Ability to collaborate with colleagues across the Americas to promote consistency knowledge sharing and best practices
Excellent project management skills
Ability to manage expenditures in order to operate within approved budget guidelines
