As an Underwriter you will be responsible for managing the day to day workflow processes required, evaluate all underwriting information provided to ensure it meets the necessary Eydent requirements and maintain timely and accurate work flow processes. In addition, you will provide communications with agents, brokers and insurance carriers while maintaining strong business relationships.

Underwriter Role Summary
Required - responsibility for managing the day-to-day underwriting workflow processes, evaluate all underwriting information provided to ensure it meets the necessary Eydent requirements while maintaining timely and accurate work flow processes.
To provide timely and customer-service based communications with agents, brokers, and insurance carriers while building strong business relationships.
Soliciting, underwriting, analyzing, and generating new and renewal business.
Administering and monitoring underwriting rules and guidelines, insurance laws and regulations, and rating manual rules.
Work within established underwriting and servicing guidelines and standards.
Achieve company and carrier underwriting and financial goals to include retention and rate goals.
Develop and maintain carrier, agency, and broker relationships.
Determine terms and conditions and complex rating plans.
Document underwriting files that reflect a solid thought process and decision making through comprehensive account reviews, sign offs and referrals.
Required - 2-3 years of multi-line underwriting experience
Required - bachelor's degree or experience equivalent to degree
Required - fundamentals of coverage, terms, and conditions which generate a profit for the company while meeting the needs of the customer.
Required:
Risk Selection experience
Financial proficiency knowledge
Actuarial fundamentals experience
Marketing and communication skillset
Beginner experience with MS Office products required
Required ability to use systems and software programs to conduct daily business for rating, file documentation and problem solving.
