Position Summary
This position collaborates with unit leadership on shared solutions and support needs; coordinates and designs system enhancements and upgrades across all modules; assesses and works to resolve production support issues; defines functional specifications for the technical team to perform minor/major enhancements as requested by the business offices; triages end user issues; communicates with both the business offices and the business application support team to apprise teams of updates/changes; monthly regression testing; and collaborates closely with technical team members.

Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills
Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in Computer Science, Programming or Information Systems; three to five years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in programming, computer systems development, design and analysis; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Desired Qualifications
Prior experience using Planon software. Prior experience with FAMIS software. Prior testing and business analysis experience with Facilities Management tools. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, experience with process improvement or business process mapping, experience with software system integration testing, demonstrated strong reasoning and problem solving skills; research skills to gather and analyze the necessary information to make recommendations and to prioritize work; proficient with developing efficient and effective solutions to business or IT issues; proficient oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to present and discuss functional and technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others and gains understanding; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment; ability to work with staff at all levels of the university; competency in developing and documenting business processes and procedures.
A creative and innovative lifelong learner with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population; able to problem solve within a collaborative team environment; ability to understand different perspectives while utilizing expert knowledge of the technical operations of the job.
