Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Account Executive:
You will get a meaningful understanding of our publications and events and pitch them to business leaders of all sizes. You'll be comfortable presenting those products and your ideas, your follow up skills will be unmatched, and your customer service skills will be on point.
Our current portfolio includes and You will also sell sponsorships in some of the region's most popular events. We develop and execute several types of events, providing you a broad opportunity to match the event and its audience to sponsor marketing goals.
The ideal candidate will be an outgoing, creative problem-solver interested in building relationships with clients and diligent about meeting deadlines. The candidate will plan, develop and execute sales strategies to meet sales goals and maintain relationships with customers to ensure the highest quality of care. The candidate needs to be able to work independently, be well organized and enjoy the challenges of working with a wide variety of clients. The candidate should be excited and willing to take ownership of all aspects of the work.
Responsible for generating new business by seeking out and targeting new customers and sales opportunities, initiates action plan to approach and secure new business.
Networks and develops working relationships with potential clients.
Develops presentations highlighting the products and services of M3 Group publications and events that meet potential client needs.
Negotiates contract terms with clients and successfully closes sales.
Responsible for meeting and exceeding sales goals.
Represents M3 Group at business, community and trade association meetings to promote M3 Group publications and events.
Additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
Account Executive:
Minimum of two to three years of prior sales or customer service experience.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Detail oriented and organized.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize and meet deadlines.
Systematic approach to sales.
Proposal preparation and delivery skills.
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
