QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or Government Equivalency Diploma (GED).
- Minimum of two years' experience in manufacturing and/or industrial maintenance.
- Must possess the mechanical capability to repair and/or analyze all types of production machinery.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment, overhead crane and rigging principles.
- Able to read, interpret and understand blueprints, manuals and assembly directions.
- Electrical experience, especially the ability to read electrical wiring diagrams, inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot and repair high voltage AC/DC components and drive systems, program Primary Logic Controls (PLC) highly desired.
- Proficient communication skills – particularly, the ability to explain complex mechanical issues.
- Must be able to perform physically demanding work, such as climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, twisting and bending for extended periods of time.
- Reliability, dependability and self-motivation is critical.
