POSITION PURPOSE
Performs a broad variety of member services functions such as opening and closing accounts, renewing and purchasing certificates, and assisting members with loan requests, bookkeeping and checking account problems. Receives and screens member walk-ins and provides referrals to Wildfire Financial Group. Performs miscellaneous support functions as needed by branch personnel. Answers member questions regarding Credit Union services provided and performs a variety of account maintenance duties. Actively cross-sells Credit Union services. Serves members promptly and professionally.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification: High school graduate or equivalent.
Required Knowledge: Knowledge of Member Service Representative operations and procedures. Basic understanding of financial institution operations.
Experience Required: One to three years prior experience helpful, particularly in a financial institution setting. Abilities generally acquired on the job.
Skills/Abilities: Good communication skills. Professional appearance, dress and attitude. Good math skills. Ability to operate related computer applications and other business equipment.
