- Journeyman card and/or 10 years experience in tooling and tool repair.
- Spotting Press experience.
- Injection molding - lifers, slides, polishing, thermocouplers and venting.
- Ability to operate all tool room machines and TIG/Laser weld.
- Ability to spot parting lines, opening vents, fix flash.
- Hands on knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatics, wiring of injection mold.
- Working knowledge of Hot runner systems AND RJG systems
- Hands on experience using hoist to handle, flip and disassemble and re assemble a mold.
- Polishing and fitting all components and core and cavity surfaces.
- Window operating system. Familiar with CAD systems a plus.
