You Will: * Create concepts that impact multiple campaigns across multiple products * Write ad placements, web pages, guides, presentations, events materials, email campaigns, search ads, overview videos, and 360 awareness campaigns, in addition to fully integrated new market launch campaigns * Use customer and data insights to inspire creative concepts * Work with an accomplished group of designers, technologists, engineers, brand managers, strategists, and product managers * Collaborate across the Square organization to provide a consistent, integrated brand voice * Distill complex subject matter into simple, straightforward language that anyone can understand You Have: * 4-6 years experience in a creative copywriting role at an agency or in-house brand * Excellent grammar, writing, and editorial skills-you take your English very seriously and have great attention to detail * The ability to explain complicated products and processes in simple, human ways to both businesses and consumers * The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle several projects at once * A positive attitude and a manageable ego with the ability to present and defend your work * An openness to feedback and creative critique * An interest in working with data to make smart, hardworking creative deliverables * Creative flexibility-you can flex your writing and adjust your language and tone based on your audience or platform * A desire to build and evolve the Square brand * The ability to push a brand forward with fresh, evolving, creative ideas * Understanding of performance-based marketing strategies and tactics * Interest in technology and the future evolution of content creation and distribution At Square, we value diversity and always treat all employees and job applicants based on merit, qualifications, competence, and talent.
