Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in marketing, business, information technology, econometrics, or data science or equivalent work experience
1 year of data visualization experience in creating and presenting findings
2 years of experience working with datasets
2 years of experience performing data analysis in a business setting
Demonstrated experience in design, creation or utilization at visualizing impacts (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
Demonstrable skill in presenting to decision-making groups and a track record of partnering for change management
Graphic design and creative writing experience are a plus.
Experience working within the business to create strategic actionable takeaways, provide solutions and expose areas of opportunity
Basic statistical knowledge and how to apply it in a business environment
Demonstrated ability to execute end-to-end data analysis projects
Preferred Qualifications
2 years of experience using SQL or other querying languages to create datasets
4 years of experience working with datasets
4 years of experience performing data analysis in a business setting
Bachelor's degree in mathematics, applied statistics or a related field
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
Proficient knowledge of business/industry domain
Ability to learn quickly and understand business processes and sub-processes
Excellent analytical, organizational and creative problem-solving skills
Self-motivation to execute projects with speed and quality
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Job Summary
The Data Visualization and Reporting Analyst is responsible for creatively designing and maintaining a coherent framework that enables the Legal team to present its work to its business partners and clients. The role requires originality in thinking and understanding of the creative factors in the storytelling process, including psychology, visual style, order, color and arrangement of elements. The analyst applies that knowledge in the creation of materials such as charts, graphs, infographics, presentation decks, reporting, dashboards and other pictorial diagrams. This role requires the team member to be a curiosity seeker. A successful candidate must be able to digest large amounts of information and data and organize it into a digestible story.
The analyst is responsible for presentations and ongoing evaluation of all storytelling components and their effectiveness, recommending improvements or discontinuation. The analyst manages reporting and visualization projects through the complete project life cycle to ensure accurate, truthful, consistent messaging.
The analyst presents large amounts of information in ways that are universally understandable or easy to interpret and spot patterns, trends and correlations. The visualization analyst works with data analysts to transform data from internal and external sources to provide timely, meaningful, informative, persuasive or actionable insight to teams and leaders to convey business value and drive organizational improvement.
Responsibilities
Make large and/or complex data more accessible, understandable and usable
Transform, improve and integrate data, depending on the business requirements
Create and present information outcomes and output data to leadership and partner teams
Present completed materials to partners and leadership
Ensure consistent delivery of the data to users in a useful and appealing way
Understand and apply tools for gathering data and performing data analyses
Liaise between teams to gather and communicate essential information for process improvement
Partner with members of the Legal team and business partners
Work in tandem with data analysts to ensure accurate and up to date data extraction drives all materials
