Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Systems Benefits Administrator, Retirement to support our System Benefits Human Resource Department. At this time, this role will have the flexibility to sit remotely The ideal candidate will possess experience in both defined benefit and defined contribution plans along with the following skill set.
Partner across System Benefits Teams and functions, both internally and externally to leverage information from different systems, plans, and vendors to help facilitate compliance, audit and reporting.
Field Team Member inquires in our Service Now case management team while performing research and review on elevated inquires
Assist with Team Member education and awareness, communications related to retirement benefits and vendor partnerships.
Assist within the internal administration of the Spectrum Health retirement plans in accordance with company, state, and federal guidelines and regulations.
Maintain current knowledge of legal and regulatory changes, taxation requirements, industry trends, and risk while working alongside the Sr. Benefits Specialists.
Make recommendations to align operational processes and improvements with objectives and opportunities
Conduct retirement related analysis regarding eligibility and funding while working within the HR Systems
Serve as primary point of contact for the People Solutions Center and for Team Member inquires
Audit or assist the Sr. Benefits Specialists with administrative actions and project plans as necessary
Assist with the preparation and presentation of internal data for annual plan audits and filings.
Work with external actuaries and vendors to support the inner workings of the Systems Retirement plan as needed
Lead of administrative duties and Team Member follow-up including, but not limited to; case management, emails, fax, voicemails, preparation of documentation and mailings.
Partner on all Retiree seminars and discount programs.
Qualifications
Required High School Diploma or equivalent Human Resources or Health Management
Preferred Vocational/Technical One year certificate from college or technical school or equivalent
2 years of relevant experience related experience, retirement plan administration, or benefits experience Required
