Registered Nurse with the State of Michigan.
Bachelor's degree required in Nursing, Education, or related field. At least three years of acute care nursing experience required. Master's degree is a plus.
One year of formal classroom experience as an adult educator is recommended.
Experience in the development and coordination of educational programs is recommended.
Demonstrates ability to communicate accurately and effectively, orally and in writing. Prior education or experience must indicate ability to develop, plan, implement, and evaluate ideas, and collaborate effectively with others.
Maintains own professional/personal growth.
May be required to lift more than 35 pounds.
Works under the supervision of the Manager, Clinical Organizational Learning.
Consults with and receives requests for educational activities from various sources within Munson Medical Center and Munson Healthcare. Works in conjunction with and shares duties and responsibilities with other education instructor(s).
Maintains contact with members of the nursing staff, instructors of affiliated schools of nursing and with other departments within the hospital.
