Description:
Responsible for maintaining the waste water treatment operations onsite in the plant.. They are going to be walking the plant floor in the morning with the Ipad to record any variations or issues they are seeing and then they can go back and make adjustments by adding chemicals to them. They will have to fill the some of the chemical baths which involves lifting up to 55 lbs bags of chemicals and they will have to take water samples 3x per day and test them in the lab. Testing includes, pH, titrations and color testing. As they are testing they will also be recording results and entering them into the system to make sure everything is logged properly. They will also be responsible for changing the bag filters, clean the clarifier once a week and perform weekly maintenance of the treatment equipment they will be using (Will be trained on all of this.)
Monday - Friday from 8-4:30pm Working most Saturdays as well right now either half or full days
No Travel required

Must Haves:
Bachelors In Chemistry, Biochemistry or Environmental Science OR Associates and some chemistry work experience OR 1-2 years of waste water treatment experience and High School Diploma. Mechanically inclined - this is a manufacturing environment, can't be afraid to get their hands dirty. Must be able to do basic pH testing and Titrations on their own.
Nice to have:
Experience in a lab setting outside of schooling Familiarity with plating process and waste water treatment systems
Disqualifiers: If degree no waste water treatment exp.
Degree: Bachelors of Chemistry preferred
