Ability to pass drug test, reference and background check.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 years experience in a leadership/supervisory role in a food processing/bakery environment
- Literacy with PC, MS Office, billings
- Working knowledge of lockout/tag out procedures and other pertinent OSHA, EPA and MIOSHA practices
- Certified fork lift trainer within 6 months
- CPR Certification
- Experience with continuous improvement process, lean manufacturing
- Ability to follow given standard operation procedures and communicate recommended changes through proper channels
- Ability to work with and through other people to accomplish production demands, adapt to changing circumstances, personalities and hours
- Able to lift up to 75 pounds, stand, walk, bend, twist, climb, lift and pull repetitively
- Inventory management
- Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through effective time management
- Thorough knowledge of machine set-up and operation
- Supervision, including employee hiring, orientation, training, development and retention, performance review and discipline
- Measurement of departmental performance to budget, goals and standards
