Education, Training, and Experience:
- High School education or equivalent certification is required.
- 1-2 years distribution center experience preferred, i.e., order fulfillment, receiving, light assembly, etc.
Specific skills, knowledge, and abilities:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, lift and move for extended periods in order to complete everyday tasks.
- Ability to use or willingness to learn general warehouse equipment such as carts, ladders, and lift trucks to complete everyday tasks.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting distribution standards.
- Motivated, hard-working and dependable; attendance and punctuality are very important.
- Able to work the shift hours M-F 7am-4:00pm, plus occasional overtime.
- Able to perform repetitive and manual tasks on a consistent basis.
- Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
- Basic understanding of and willingness to use computers.
- Acceptable proficiency in basic math and problem solving.
- Ability and willingness to learn new tasks.
- Commitment to team environment and willingness to complete all tasks as assigned.
