Prepares customer orders for shipping and receives incoming materials by performing the following duties:
SPECIFIC DUTIES
Organizes and maintains finished goods inventory
Provides necessary information to logistics coordinator about daily shipments, i.e. weights & dimensions
Packages and prepares all shipments for deliveries according to customer specifications
Maintains adequate level of shipping supplies
Designs and builds suitable pallets as required for shipments
Receives deliveries of incoming goods, verify bill of lading
Keeps orderly and clean work area
Completes required job paperwork
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to use tools associated with building pallets and occasional assembly of products
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Standing, bending, reaching & stooping all day
Lifts up to 60 lbs.
