Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- General housekeeping and trash disposal
- Cleaning of machinery and equipment as necessary
- Floor Scrubber operation
- Clean-up of exterior grounds as required
- Use proper PPE while performing duties
- Detect, report, correct any safety hazards
- End of shift clean-up to include restrooms, sweeping, mopping.
- Various other duties as required
Job Requirements
- 1 year experience or equivalent knowledge and experience is desired
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. The work requires regular standing, moving about the plants, and involves a variety of physical activities
Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of (or the ability to learn) safety data sheets, blood borne pathogens, and proper disposal of related hazardous material
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
- Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of employees
- Must be punctual and maintain good attendance
