Digital Business Analyst Opening
One of our largest clients that is headquartered in Kansas City and over the last couple of years has also built out an office in Detroit to support a large partnership. As they continue to evolve in Detroit, they are building out teams here in Detroit to support their initiatives from a local level vs. relying on the Kansas City office.
This Digital Business Analyst will be supporting several projects that includes a full stack effort (responsive web and mobile) to enhance the user experience across multiple product streams for Tier 1 - Tier 3 websites and mobile offerings for eCommerce.
TOP SKILLS REQUIRED:
3+ years of experience working as a Digital business analyst at an Agency or working on a consumer facing web or mobile product gathering and documenting requirements and managing project timelines.
Experience working with creative teams in support of UX/UI Designs and development teams supporting consumer facing web and/or mobile products
Experience with Agile and writing user stories
* Ideally looking for people who come from an agency or similar environment
DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Business Analysis
Work with client product owners and stakeholders to efficiently, clearly and concisely document
Client business practices and operations
Problem statement
Business key performance indicators (KPI) and Definition of Success
Business, functional, and non-functional requirements (user stories)
Non-functional requirements include, but not limited to:
Security, scalability, performance, SEO, and accessibility
Coordinate story mapping or other requirements gathering sessions
Organize and lead product demonstrations regularly
Requirements Analysis
Work with agile teams to groom and refine user stories and acceptance criteria to meet the agile team's definition of ready.
Annotate wireframes and/or creative to provide all needed detail for execution
Decompose or combine stories to support effective execution
Ability to communicate technical domain specific information to non-technical peers
Project Management
Establishes preliminary dates required for completion of activities and evaluates impact of change to the overall timeline.
Monitors progress and identifies risks, issues and gaps that could impact timelines, and goals of services.
Provides accurate and frequent status to internal teams on a regular basis.
Proactively supports resourcing based on project needs.
Drafts and manages external status reporting to clients as needed.
