GENERAL SUMMARY: Under close supervision of a licensed nurse, and according to established policies, procedures and specific instructions, performs a variety of basic patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comforts of patients.
Job Requirements:
Must be high school graduate or equivalent
Must successfully complete hospital dysrhythmia course with 85% passing grade.
Prefer experience with computer order entry and knowledge of medical/technical terms.
Current BCLS and/or obtains and maintains Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training unit specific.
One to three months on-the-job training to become familiar with nursing units, policies, procedures and the like.
