Functions as an integral part of the IT Business Systems Team, working with finance and supply chain systems. Works with all aspects of assigned areas of expertise which could include one of
Finance - General Ledger, Budgeting, Forecasting, Fixed Assets, AP
Supply Chain - purchasing, eCommerce, inventory control, requisition workflow
Serves as a primary liaison interacting with subsidiary and corporate departments to provide IT ERP support for assigned areas of expertise. Actively participates in departmental and corporate strategic planning, analysis of complex data and material, project management, solutions design, testing, implementations, installations, upgrades, training and other related activities. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities :
Leads interdisciplinary teams to assess, evaluate, determine requirements for, outline workflows for, and design automated and operational solutions for assigned areas of expertise.
Develops implementation plans and schedules for system requirements gathering, design, reviews, implementations, installations, upgrades, training and other related activities.
Designs and delivers training and instruction related to process design, decision making, system capabilities, system usage and operational usage of software and other automated solutions.
Implements and maintains security access, all system tables and views, development and maintenance of all data extracts through SQL and Business Intelligence platforms.
Manages data transfer technology/maintains inbound and outbound vendor interfaces via File Transfer Protocol (FTP).
Manages vendor relationship for all 3 rd party vendors that exchange data with McLaren ERP systems.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in a healthcare field, accounting field, finance field, or information technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience. (Equivalency is Associate degree plus 5 years of experience working in either healthcare or as an IT analyst)
Minimum 5 years (10 years without Bachelor's degree) information systems support experience in Peoplesoft, or Kronos systems.
Minimum 5 years (10 years without Bachelor's degree) of healthcare finance or supply chain operations experience.
Ability to travel to offices in all McLaren Regions. Travel will be kept to a minimum, unless additional resources are needed.
Preferred:
- Certifications in primary PeopleSoft solution area or Project Management Professional (PMP) or Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) or Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS)
HR certification as PHR or SPHR
