Job Description
Vehicle Motion Embedded Controls (VMEC) is looking for a DevOps Engineer to help us build the best functional systems that improve the overall user experience. The DevOps Engineer is responsible for communicating with development teams, and will provide the results of user feedback, testing, and troubleshooting. In addition, this role will assist in coding and scripting to connect to various application elements.
Position Highlights:
* Capture tooling requirements that support intended user work flows
* Deliver tooling to support Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment principles
* Confirm system behavior works as intended
* Support users
Additional Job Description
Minimum Required Skills and Experience:
* Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Computer Science
* Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience with developing software in Java, Python, Perl, Bash, etc.
* Basic understanding of DevOps principles
Preferred Skills and Experience:
* Master Degree in Engineering/Computer Science
* 5 years of relevant experience with developing software in Java, Python, Perl, Bash, etc.
* 2 years of supporting continuous integration/deployment deliverables
