We are seeking to enhance our faculty by adding positions for a clinician member of our pediatric glaucoma section of our pediatric ophthalmology service to work in a dynamic and creative academic environment. Opportunities for partnering with other disciplines exist and the ideal candidate will be interested in innovative program development that addresses the clinical and research needs of our patients. Contributions toward teaching and administration are highly valued.
We welcome applicants to apply who are Board-eligible or certified in ophthalmology and have completed a pediatric ophthalmology fellowship with a focus in glaucoma. This full-time position is on the clinical track. The University of Michigan is a collaborative educational institution with leading programs in every discipline from engineering to business to public health with whom our current faculty partner.
M.D., hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical licenses in the state of Michigan, and be Board-eligible or Board-certified in Ophthalmology. Evidence of clinical competency and competency in clinical and didactic teaching is also expected. Completed subspecialty fellowship training is highly desirable.
Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings.
