Essential Duties:
Effectively communicate with customers and outside sales staff over the telephone and email.
Process purchase orders through ERP system.
Support outside sales team by preparing quotes, reports, and related sales forms.
Follow up on customer orders.
Work closely with the warehouse and inventory planning.
Update and maintain information in systems and files.
Prepare shipping documents; both local and international.
Prepare samples for sales staff.
Accept orders and products.
Communicate with Japan to ensure customer's product needs are satisfied.
Maintain all faxed requests.
Send out literature to customers.
Process outgoing mails.
Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures and IATF16949 and ISO14000 related policies.
Academic Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
High school diploma or GED
Experience in SAP preferred
Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service/customer facing role
Proficiency in communicating in English language
Strong organization skills
Good time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to perform addition, subtraction, and multiplication and division
Excellent telephone and email etiquette
Proficiency in MS Excel, proficiency in other MS Office software
