Position Summary: To perform all functions of delivery of products to customers to the highest of Herbrucks quality standards.
Position Responsibilities:
· Keep trucks clean and in working order
· Transport of product between farms (manure, feed, birds, scarab), load trucks with product
· Handle manure in ways to minimize odors, keep all work areas, building, driveways clean and orderly
· Perform preventative maintenance and keep records on all equipment
· Loading and unloading of truck
· Keep track of inventory
· Maintain required training
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· Must be at least 18 years of age
· Must have a valid Class A, CDL driver's license
· Willing to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays as assigned
· Physical ability to perform essential functions of the jobs to work with birds directly
· Ability to comply with the strictest standards for animal welfare and to report incidents of abuse neglect, or breach of biosecurity to preserve the health and welfare of our birds.
Physical Demands:
· Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations
· Ability to remain standing and/or walking for extended periods of time on concrete floors
· Ability to stoop, bend, climb, and lift at least 25 lbs. continuously throughout the day
