TRAINING COORDINATOR Zoetis, the global leader in animal health, is looking for an engaged and driven individual to join our team. The Training Coordinator is responsible for facilitating the training program of the production team to enable effective knowledge transfer and ensure compliance with regulatory training requirements. Also responsible for communicating training needs and status with leadership, coaching, developing other practice or proficient trainers, and completing traning progress reports for learners. The Training Coordinator is also responsible for performing training related administrative functions in addition to quality / safety related investigations and required documentation. Responsibilities must be performed in compliance with all safety policies and adherence to SOPs, GMPs, and Zoetis Core Beliefs. The Training Coordinator will function as an operator/specialist for a portion of their time to stay current on job functions and tasks, and be able to serve as an on-the-job trainer. This role requires high attention to detail, awareness of the sensitivities of working in a manufacturing environment, an engaged work ethic as part of a high-performance team, and communicating in a manner that is conducive to effective working relationships. The Training Coordinator position requires the use of SAP, Microsoft applications, other database and computer systems. All activities are conducted within a safety-minded culture that strives for continuous improvement. All work is performed in strict compliance with manufacturing standards and regulatory requirements in a lean manufacturing environment. This includes adhering to proper documentation practices and following instructions provided in standard operating procedures and batch records. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Coordinate, maintain and facilitate the Training Program for the designated areas * Own, maintain and update training documentation (OJTs, SOPs) * Ability to provide training on most aspects/systems in the area (OJT s, SOPs equipment, paperwork, process) * Update training documentation in LMS (Learning Management System), including enrolling employees in curriculum and inputting learning events into the system * Maintain team Training Matrix including setting training completion targets for learners and frequently review/update status * Track training compliance (run reports in LMS) * Understand philosophy and techniques of training facilitation and ability to communicate training effectively (Train the Trainer mindset) * Develop other trainers/subject matter experts in the area * Maintain a training plan with a long term perspective (meet with Team Leader regularly to ensure training compliance) Zoetis is committed to equal opportunity in the terms and conditions of employment for all employees and job applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, gender identity or gender expression, national origin, disability or veteran status or any other protected classification.
