POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for providing crisis intervention, ongoing support and expertise through comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation and overall evaluation of individual patient needs. The overall goal of the position is to enhance the quality of patient management and satisfaction and to promote continuity of care and housing stability through the functions of case management.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling
- Master’s Degree preferred
- One year of experience in the examination, evaluation and treatment of individuals with mental health diagnosis
- State of Michigan professional license (LBSW, LLP, or LLPC)
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and have access to a private vehicle for day-to-day job performance
- Knowledge of psychopathology and psychiatric disorders, including co-occurring disorders
- Possess skills in Crisis Intervention working with individuals undergoing acute episodes of psychiatric distress
- Knowledge of available of community resources, services and partner organizations
COMPENSATION:
$42,900 to $54,600 (Full-Time/Union)
