Amazon Web Services (AWS) is leading the next paradigm in computing and seeking talented individuals for an exciting role of GTM AM for the SLG & EDU markets. Do you have the business savvy and industry expertise necessary to position Amazon as the technology platform of choice?
The AWS Partner Ecosystem has grown to tens of thousands of partners worldwide and these Systems Integrators, Advisors, Professional and Managed Services, and Technology partners deliver key services that drive customer business outcomes. This role will execute proactive sales plays with and through our AWS Consulting partners in the State & Local Government (SLG) and Education (EDU) markets within the Great Lakes Region (Michigan, Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky).
As a GTM AM, you will deliver on our strategy to build mind share and adoption of Amazon's infrastructure web services across AWS' most strategic business partners and customers. You will be responsible for driving top line revenue growth and overall end customer adoption in the US SLG and EDU Great Lakes market. The ideal candidate has both a business background that enables them engage at the CXO level, and a sales background that enables them to build and execute go-to-market programs with partners.

Travel is 30-50% within the Midwest Region.
Basic Qualifications
* 7+ years of direct sales or business development experience in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives
* 5+ years of building profitable Partner ecosystems
* 2+ years selling into SLG or EDU customer segments
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
