Description:
- Manufacturing Process Engineer Provide resources, support, and priorities for all maintenance actions;
- Use Maximo (MFM) to document all maintenance activities (planned and crisis) and create reports to support continuous improvement
- Use Maximo to analyze data and evaluate the effectiveness of the preventive maintenance plan
- Jointly coordinate maintenance and engineering activities
- Ensure department compliance with government, industry, and corporate standards
- Manage Department credit card, generate purchases and keep track of approvals and invoices
- Generate and manage quotes/purchase orders for day to day activities
- Create constraint reports
- Understand and utilize FIS (Factory Information Systems) Network and interface with OEM’s, service teams, full service suppliers and others for day to day support
- Maintain department scorecards and performance to objectives for reporting purposes
Skills Required:
- Body shop/stamping/subassembly experience preferred
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
- Knowledge of constraint management principles
- Safety and Quality experience preferred
- Microsoft Office knowledge (Word/Excel/Outlook)
- Prior experience managing a unionized work force
Experience Required:
- Experience: 5-10 years automotive experience
Education Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical type Engineering
