Specialist - Practice Management, Marketing & Sales
Who You'll Work With
You'll be part of our North America Marketing & Sales practice, one of McKinsey's functional practices which focuses on helping clients deliver holistic, inclusive growth by transforming their marketing and sales capabilities.
You will work closely with the Director of Practice Strategy and Operations and interact with a wide range of global practice colleagues and senior practice leaders.
What You'll Do
You will support a wide range of ongoing activities and special projects to advance our Marketing & Sales practice agenda and priorities.
You will help shape our client agenda and support a range of initiatives designed to broaden and deepen our client service. You will drive the build-out and maintenance of our infrastructure, help prioritize opportunities, and perform analyses to track opportunities. You will also help develop and maintain reference cases/other practice collateral and have the opportunity to directly support client service teams.
You will play a pivotal role supporting internal practice meetings and events, preparing materials and maintaining a running list of action items. You will support planning for both in-person and virtual events, and you will help draft critical practice communications such as newsletters.
Throughout the year, you will also have the opportunity to take on special projects and lead a wide range of priority practice initiatives. You will help support the operational excellence of the cell, champion best practices across the firm, and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
University degree with excellent academic record; advanced degree preferred
4+ years of experience in a professional services environment preferred
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Zoom
Results-oriented; self-starter with an entrepreneurial "get things done" mindset
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent project management skills; ability to structure work, identify challenges and articulate solutions even when dealing with ambiguity
Highly collaborative; ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
