The Website Marketing Manager will work with the marketing team drive the digital experience across the Crain brand websites by maintaining and updating webpages, assisting with testing new experiences, and implementing improvements to the UX. This position would start as remote from home and then be based in Chicago or Detroit office once we are working in office again; could be completely remote based for the right person in one of these SIX states: IL, NY, MI, CA, OH, TX. Responsibilities: * Manage website content updates, create landing pages, and maintain website roadmap to support marketing goals and objectives. * Assist CRO team with development of on-site A/B experiments, QA, implementing tracking, and rolling out website improvements. * Partner with UX designer to evaluate and enhance the UX/UI to improve engagement and conversions * Work with internal and external partners to optimize website experience Requirements * Minimum 1 year of experience updating websites via a Content Management System (Drupal experience a plus) * Minimum 1 year of experience with front end development * Knowledge of UX and web design principles * Understanding of SEO strategies * Excellent organization, communication, and project planning skills, with a sharp attention to detail * Ability to work independently in a cross-functional, multi-team environment Preferences * Experience with tag management (Adobe Signal, Google Tag Manager) * Knowledge of and experience with UX design principles * Familiarity with web analytics and measurement tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics) * Familiarity with on-site testing platforms (Adobe Target, Optimizely) This position is exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
