Position Summary
The Center for Integrative Studies in the Arts and Humanities at Michigan State University is currently establishing a pool of fixed-term positions with the possibility of renewal at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor. These positions will be academic year (nine month) positions. Applicants in this pool are reviewed when the department has an immediate need to fill a vacancy as needed within two years to begin as early as August 16, 2019.
Duties:
Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate general education courses on contemporary topics in the arts and humanities offered by the Center for Integrative Studies in the Arts and Humanities (IAH).
Required Degree
Doctorate
Minimum Requirements
- MA, MFA or Ph.D. humanities or related fields.
- Two-years of experience teaching in the Humanities at the college level.
