The Body Lab Test Technicianis an integral part of the vehicle development process. You will usecutting edge technology to help create the vehicles of tomorrow
BRIEFOUTLINE OF SPECIFIC ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Shift is Friday - Monday, 10 hours perday in the afternoons. Training will be on days.
Store test parts and supporting hardware/fixtures prior to test
Retrieve test parts to support build up and test conduct
Ship, store and/or dispose of tested parts and fixtures post-test per test instructions
Update test status through database and communicate to lab leads and engineers
Maintain all work area documentation including note logs, check sheets, sample inventory and fixtures
Follow all SOP's associated with tasks as well as EH&S
Responsible for new procedural information sent out as new programs are brought into the Lab
Maintain specific Lab supplies

Qualifications
MINIMUMEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, AND /OR SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma required
Two-year degree in Automotive Technology orsimilar preferred
Two years' experience in a related fieldpreferred.
Mid-level knowledge of Microsoft Office with afocus in Excel
Ability to conduct test sample prep andinstallation/removal
Ability to design, fabricate, track, locate andmount customized test fixtures as needed
Ability to run standard tests and support testengineers for one-off testing in a lab environment
Ability to work Friday through Monday; (4) 10 hour afternoon shifts. Self-starter, highly motivated, strong team playerwith a positive attitude

Workhours are normally 10 hours per day and 4 days per week, Friday-Monday. Regularattendance of scheduled hours is extremely important. Punctuality and regularattendance are necessary.
Other Essential Functions
Must complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, health performance evaluation, PMHV physical, and background check.
Must demonstrate professional behavior at all times when dealing with customers, management and co-workers.
Must have clear, concise and accurate communications skills in English, both verbal and written.
Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk to self or others.
Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner.
Dependable personal transportation to work site is required.
