The Revenue Cycle Manager is responsible for oversight of the day to day operations of Eastern Dental CBO. This person will work to develop, plan, organize and implement current and future strategies for the organization. The areas of responsibility include dental billing, payment posting, AR follow-up, and patient AR processing and support. They will responsible to assess and understand current processes while providing recommendations to take the CBO to best practice and industry benchmarks.
Has direct oversight for daily activities for the General practice billing, payment posting, AR follow up, and patient AR processing and customer service
Work with the Ortho CBO Manager to ensure that consistent processes occur between General practice and Ortho
Possess strong managerial competencies in the areas of leadership, team development, coaching and mentoring
Partner with the Revenue cycle leadership in guiding the firm in initiating various change management initiatives with the view of leading and guiding growth and development
Assist staff with access issues, software and payer online portals
Communicate / Facilitate special projects and requests to field and leadership
Work with revenue cycle leadership on AR metric reviews and coordination of staff resourcing
Monitors timeliness and effectiveness of department activities, ensuring that outstanding account receivables are consistent with KPIs / metrics
Monitors effectiveness of collection efforts related to set goals
Compiles and prepares various status reports to report department progress, trends and make recommendations
Enhance and standardize work - assist in creating consistent process flows throughout the revenue cycle
Defines and streamlines various functional activities to ensure its effectiveness in maximizing the utilization of both asset and people resources
Conduct annual assessment processes to determine staff performance
Monitor and audit accounts for staff accuracy and quality
Bachelor's Degree required
5+ Years management experience required
Dental industry experience within a practice or billing office; would also consider medical experience in a similar role
Has strong managerial acumen in setting corporate directions and aligning strategic goals around business plans and vision
Must be willing to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices, and willing to embrace new technology
Ability to communicate with field operations staff, regional managers, as well as VP level and investor leadership
