Upholds the standards of professional performance as described by the ANA. This includes ethical practice, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice and research, quality of practice, professional practice evaluation, resource utilization and environmental health. Strives to achieve optimal outcomes.
Basic Qualifications:
Education - Associate's Degree or equivalent in Nursing Bachelor's Degree in of Science in Nursing must be obtained within 5 years for those who start in this RN role on or after January 1, 2017
Experience - Successful completion of a competency-based orientation program
Licenses -
Registered Nurse (RN) State of Michigan Upon Hire
Basic Life Support (BLS) Awithin 60 days
National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification (NIH) BW/BL: 3H, 4S, NCC, 7S, 1H, SCC Neuro core nurses BW/BL: Emergency Department Charge Nurses (from appointment date) 60 Days
Preferred Qualifications:
AT least 1-2 years RN experience preferred
Experience in ICU or progressive setting preferred
