This Opportunity
WSP is currently initiating a search for a National Market Sector Lead - Water/Wastewater Treatment for our Miami, FL office. The following locations will also be considered: FL offices, New England offices, NY, Seattle, Houston, or Los Angeles, CA
Your Impact
Responsible for growing water and/or wastewater treatment market share for WSP USA
Develop national strategies and lead growth in water/wastewater treatment market, including advanced water treatment and water re-use
Serve as national technical lead for water/wastewater treatment; lead technical excellence development of treatment project delivery team members located throughout the Country.
Coordinate and partner with WSP's regional leads to identify and win transformative W/WW treatment opportunities, including alternative delivery projects, that would increase WSP's market share and elevate brand recognition
Develop and implement key client engagement plans and actions
Provide QA/QC, technical review and other technical assistance on treatment projects with a goal of maintaining 30% personal billability.
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
15+ years of professional experience
Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) in civil, environmental, chemical, or other relevant engineering field
Must be familiar with and a strong participant in water industry professional organizations (i.e., AWWA, WEF), with established record of publications in technical journals, and presentations at industry conferences
Strong technical/design background in water and wastewater treatment in the United States municipal water industry
Strong project management and proven business development experience in United States municipal water industry
Strong client and project delivery experience in Water/Wastewater treatment facilities and infrastructure, with an understanding of other market sectors within the A/E/C industry
Experience with water/wastewater utility treatment operations desirable, but not required.
Licensed professional engineer in the United States
Experience building business through external client engagement and internal sales management processes
Preferred Qualifications
25+ years of professional experience
Master's degree (advanced degree preferred) in civil, environmental, chemical, or other relevant engineering field
