Title:
Provisioning Specialist
Analyzes, organizes, plans and administers various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, or maintenance/repair activities using established procedures. Analyzes standard contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports for assigned contracts to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements. Follows established policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control. Conducts distribution and network studies, monitors inventory and analyzes requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times.

Maintains appropriate records and prepares reports. Coordinates logistics activities with internal/external customers. Provides activity and status reports to management.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 2 years related experience. In lieu of formal education, 10 years of experience in the Logistics/Provisioning field, preferably U.S. Army. Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) and Security Clearance.
Must have knowledge and understanding of U.S. Army Logistics Provisioning functions using U.S. Army practices and guidelines. Experience with the provisioning of U.S. Army transportation systems to include light, medium and heavy equipment a plus.
Understands and able to read technical drawings of vehicles and equipment.
