JOB DUTIES: International Tax Manager positions with Dana Limited in Novi, MI will review U.S. international tax filings (Forms 5471, 8865, 8858). Research, analyze, and document tax positions taken on tax returns. Review tax provision workpapers in connection with quarterly and annual financial reporting responsibilities. Review transfer pricing documentation and perform tangible goods analysis. Review the collection, analysis, and summarization of tax returns filed by non-U.S. subsidiaries. Research and summarize U.S. tax implications of transactions performed by non-U.S. subsidiaries. Assist with the preparation of responses to various tax audits. Research U.S. tax implications of proposed and future transactions. Assist in the tax department’s collaborative efforts with the treasury department. Assist in tax aspects of M&A activity. Support all tax areas as needed.
REQUIREMENTS: Must have at least a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Accounting, Tax or a related field, and at least 2 years of experience in the job offered or at least 2 years of experience in accounting. All stated experience must include at least 2 years of experience in each of the following: producing work which requires analysis of accounting information relating to U.S. GAAP accounting principles; utilizing Microsoft Excel; and working on multiple financial projects with tight deadlines. All stated experience must also include the analysis of accounting information relating to non-U.S. GAAP accounting principles.
