Description
Position Summary:
Performs diagnostic procedures on patients using ultrasound waves to examine tissue and body structures. Performs variety of ultrasound procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative.
Qualifications
Required:
Two years of formal education/training beyond high school at an approved school of Medical Sonography
Registration as Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
Registration in Breast (BR), Abdomen (AB), Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN), Vascular (VT) completed within 18 months of accepting the position
CPR certification
Preferred:
- 6 months to 1 year of job-related experience.
