Amazon Web Services (AWS) Training & Certification (T&C) is looking for a Release Coordinator & Analystto be part of the T&C Release & Governance team.
AWS' training catalog is rapidly growing in volume, and the Release Coordinator will assist in the planning and execution of publishing of learning content to ensure that the end product meets Amazon's style and quality bars.
This role will be part of the release management team within AWS T&C curriculum organization and will work closely with curriculum development, digital and media team, curriculum engineering, marketing, and vendors to help us effectively support the larger AWS T&C Team.
The ideal candidate possesses the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with minimal guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, switch gears at a moment's notice, and take effective, decisive action when working with teams on the release of content.
The position is responsible for: *
* Coordinating across key curriculum functions to manage projects from ideation to publishing
* Ability to make minor/edits or tweaks to content packages upon launching if defects are detected.
* Assist in the procurement and management of files for localization
* Coordinate logistics and scheduling needed to execute localization projects in connection with the localization program manager.
* Oversee the resolution of publishing and translation queries
* Triage and handle bugs, including special requests, build failures, and translation fixes
* Follow the status of projects, reach out for updates, and communicate findings to key stakeholders
* Interact with vendors and respond to various types of queries and request around content publishing Prepare release management reports and summaries as needed.
* Orchestrates and reports weekly, monthly and project release activities within the Corporate Solutions development life cycle which includes, but is not limited to business relations, infrastructure, change management, service desk representatives and other related teams to ensure awareness, successful operational handoffs, deployment and acceptance.
* Develops and stewards the Release Management process, along with establishing specific standards to govern the process.
* Adheres and contributes to improvements to the release process that support quality releases and minimize risk to the production and non-production environments.
* Establishes and communicates release expectations, milestones and release activity progress; provides reports for and across all involved teams.
* Identifies critical success factors and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure and report on release quality.
* Creates and maintains required release documentation that supports any given release through its production life cycle.

Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; or 5 years' relevant work experience.
* 3+ years of experience in a training and/or team coordination position
* 3+ years experience with Learning Management System (LMS) administration and content management
* Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
* Automation experience working with technologies: Java, Python, Java Script etc.
* Design and build the automated test frameworks and test suites for use in development and testing cycles
* Recent experience (within last 2 years) in a fast-paced, multinational company
* Experience working with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
