HDR EOC is looking for a Construction Manager/Inspector to provide construction management for US Government funded projects at military installations and various other locations throughout the United States Central Region. The duties of this position include but are not limited to:
* Prepare Title II Quality Assurance services
* Work directly with clients to develop recommendations
* Review documents for areas of conflict with all disciplines
* Write/edit specifications, select equipment and devices
* Take on contract administration responsibilities requiring field inspections and conflict resolution
* Make decisions on significant design and engineering features as needed
* Function as a Project Manager on small and mid-size projects as needed, but project management is not the principal focus of position
* Perform other duties as neededQualifications
•A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or applicable field related to the overall project tasking is preferred.
•Minimum of 10-15 years' experience in construction practices, procedures, and testing related to construction methods, to include five (5) years of quality control management of DoD construction projects.
•It is preferred that the individual have attended a professionally accredited Quality Control Management Course (e.g., conducted by the US Army Corps of Engineers or an independent private company) within the last five (5) years.
•Have or being able to obtain in a reasonable time, the required government clearances to perform the responsibilities HDR has been contracted to perform. In some cases this could mean, but is not limited to a CAC card, network access and/or restricted area badges.
