Mortgage Assistant
Looking for a great opportunity in the mortgage industry? Lending institutions and loan servicing organizations are experiencing a dramatic increase in the number of customers applying for new mortgages or to refinancing existing mortgages due to recent interest rate dropping. As a result, our clients are aggressively seeking Mortgage Assistants to assist with mortgage loan funders for opportunities that start this month. Robert Half Management Resources has a unique role for a Mortgage Assistant in Lansing, MI. This Mortgage Assistant will process loan files and help clients submit completed applications. The Mortgage Assistant will work directly with the Branch Manager for all existing and new loan applications; assist with scheduling of appointments; and performs administrative lending support. Responsibilities:
• Perform a general evaluation of an application
• Gather all important data from client
• Correct mistakes and investigate inconsistencies
• Submit completed loan files for appraisal
• Conduct a final review of the file before closing
Requirements
• Mortgage / loan processing experience
• Loan closing experience
• Great communication skills
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
